Warranty
Procedure :
The warranty procedure requires customers to report the issue along with images and videos provided through E-mail/WhatsApp/Call/Warranty form, to any of the THOCKSHOP officials.
The information then is forwarded to the respective products company/supplier. After approval, they will provide us the part/unit of the warrantied product depending on the severity of the issue.
The said part/unit is only provided to us on the next order we place with the company/supplier.
To refer what is or isn't covered under warranty please read the following bellow :
- Keyboards, Barebones, Mouse and Controllers are covered under warranty
- Keycaps and Switches are not covered under warranty
Some items may be exempt from warranty in specific cases, such as :
- The parent company of the product stops manufacturing spare parts/units for the variant.
- The company/supplier ceases to honor the warranty agreement for the products.
Conditions that will not be covered by warranty :
- For products containing a serial number or other identification marks, the alteration, relocation, removal, falsification, defacement or any other damage or modification to such marks will void the warranty.
- We will not honor fake or fraudulent warranty claims and reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to reject any warranty claims which we suspect to be fraudulent (including intentional damage to products, duplicate claims, and counterfeit products).
- Please note that general wear and tear, including but not limited to the breakdown of colors and materials over time, is not considered a material or manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered by our warranty.
- Physical damage to the items due to improper use of the product, whether accidental or intentional.
- Physical modification of any product or component present in a product in any irreversible manner. For Pre-finished items, such as keyboards and mice, any modification involving disassembly, regardless of its reversibility, is excluded from warranty.
- Products purchased in a clearance sale are exempt from warranty.
- Warranty claim is denied if the ownership of the product has been transferred.
Important points :
- Dead on arrival claims and claims for missing parts will be entertained only within the first seven 7 days after delivery of the product. Please test your products immediately upon receiving them. In case there are any issues found, reach out to us through any of the listed contact sources.
- Claims of transit damage/missing items on arrival will only be entertained if a clear image/video showing the damage with the original packaging and a valid order ID# is provided through our listed contact sources.
- Cosmetic changes caused by general use, ageing and other associated wear and tear and will not be treated as manufacturing defects.
- In specific cases when only part of the unit is provided on claim, installation of the part is to be handled by the customer and in case any damage occurs to the part while installation, you will not be able to reclaim warranty on it again.
- Damage caused by unauthorised/third party repair attempts are not covered under any kind of warranty.
- Please Note that the warranty is provided by the parent company or supplier of the imported product and not by THOCKSHOP. If there is insufficient proof or reasons that do not suffice, they hold full authority to deny warranty.
